Primus have released the final episode of their ‘Interstellar Drum Derby’ YouTube series, which documents their worldwide search for a new drummer.
The finale captures the moment Les Claypool surprises John Hoffman with the news that he’s officially joined the band.The episode transitions into the recording of “Little Lord Fentanyl,” Primus’ first new song in over three years, featuring Hoffman and a guest vocal from Maynard James Keenan from Tool.
With Hoffman now behind the kit, Primus are on the road with the Sessanta Tour and will kick off their Onward & Upward U.S. tour in July.
