Dudamel described Coachella as a “dream” gig, which will mark the end of his 17-year tenure as conductor of the LA Philharmonic as he leaves for the New York Philharmonic next year.
This event was also significant for Grohl – it was his first time performing Foo Fighters songs since last year, when he admitted to having a child out of wedlock and cancelled a festival appearance.
