The new Offspring album features a guest appearance by James Hetfield – well, sort of.
Hetfield doesn’t appear in person, but Offspring guitarist Noodles says he used one of the Metallica frontman’s old guitars on the record.
He told Ultimate Guitar that producer Bob Rock lent them one of Hetfield’s early ESP prototypes, which was played on the song “Come to Brazil”.
The Offspring’s latest album Supercharged was released last week.
